Frederick Habitat’s ReStore, the first ReStore in Western Maryland, is a home improvement center that sells new and reusable goods to the public at a fraction of retail cost.  We resell overstocked, discontinued and used quality building materials, home improvement items, furnishings, and accessories donated by individuals, suppliers, and contractors.

 

By making donated materials available for reuse, we promote environmental responsibility and divert tons of reusable building materials from taking up space in local landfills.

 

The revenue generated by the ReStore supports Habitat for Humanity of Frederick County in helping more people realize the strength, stability and self-reliance that come with affordable home ownership!

 

The ReStore’s inventory changes daily, as we receive a variety of donations every day, so stop by frequently! Or if you just want to upgrade your apartment or home, you can’t beat the ReStore prices!

 

Additionally, we have a recycling program to help the local community properly dispose of old, bulky appliances.  If you have large items, such as refrigerators, stoves, washers, and dryers that you need help getting rid of, please contact our ReStore to donate!

To make donating even easier, we offer a pick-up service! Donations being picked up by the ReStore must be on a first floor, garage or porch with easy access.
