Habitat for Humanity is looking for Partner Families!

Are you and your family spending over 30 percent of your family income on rent? Are you dreaming of a home of your own, but just cannot afford it? Habitat for Humanity's Homeownership program may be for you.

Applicants are required to meet several qualifications to ensure success.

 

• Be legal US citizens and residents of Frederick County, MD

• Prove steady income by providing pay stubs and bank statements

• Prove good credit by undergoing a credit check

• Earn a monthly income that falls within our minimum and maximum limits, depending on household size

•  Have a savings account

In addition, each partner family will be required to:

• Invest “sweat-equity” hours in building his/her home and others

• Make a down payment of $500

• Make timely mortgage payments

• Attend homeowner education classes

Habitat for Humanity is the world's largest home builder. Habitat for Humanity is building and rehabbing homes for those in need of decent, safe, affordable housing.
